Life in Mongolia 2016

2016 was a good year. We focused on our church life with Torch. Leading the church, I often taught and preached in the Sunday morning meetings we always had. By the tie we left Mongolia in June of 2016, there were four of us in leadership in the church: Bat, Oyunbold, Nara and me. It was great working with them. I also taught a master's degree class at MIU called English for Public Administration, part of the classes required by the students. And we kept on with our links with many friends throughout the city. God was good to give us so many. We did what we could to help people on from where they were at. And then finally in June we said our goodbyes to so many people we had grown to love. It was not an easy thing! Our final day was a Sunday that we spend with Torch in the morning and individuals through the day.

What can I write? It was a great experience. We loved so much about Mongolia. There were many difficulties and heartaches, but there were greater times of joy and adventure and accomplishment. And we saw God's handiwork every step of the way. And we are still in contact with many people there in Mongolia to this day.
