Mexico

We have always loved going to Mexico. My first time ever to Mexico was in 1982 when I met my friend Fred in Matamoros just south of the border from Brownsville, Texas. Then in 1986, the year Kathy and I moved to California, I began crossing the border into Tijuana many times, as well as visiting our friend Javier Bravo, who I call the poet preacher, and his family and churches he is linked with in and around Colima, Mexico. Some years later I visit other  towns such as Tierra Colorada and El Ocotito in the state of Guerrero, several times driving south to see friends in Omitlan and Acapulco and driving north to Chilpancingo, Taxco the ancient city known for its silver, and Cuernavaca on the way to Mexico City. have many friends and links with several churches in Colima and Guerrero. I've been to Mexico about 40 times since 1982, just about always for the purpose of encouraging Christian friends in the Lord and preaching in churches.
