Europe
When I was a child I never dreamed I could ever travel the world. I have done my fair share of trips, not many, not few. When I became a Christian and began gathering with others of like mind in Rolling Meadows, Illinois back in 1977, my spiritual links were to men and women from England who, for me, had the words of life I needed to hear. I was told of a Christian conference in England where people of like mind were gathering, and some teachers and preachers I had already been introduced to through cassette tapes! So the six of us went. Wow, what a great experience for me in many ways. The adventure, the sites, the culture, and most of all the ministry in God that exuded from the leadership as well as all the brethren, maybe 500 in all. That was my intro to Europe. Since then Kathy and I have travelled to England several times as well as to Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
Just about all the trips Kathy and I have made overseas have revolved around the purpose of seeing friends, meeting new people, visiting Christian works, seeking to begin new ones. So the places we have seen have usually been marvelous extra benefits and not the purpose. People are always kind to take us on site-seeing trips. How I love that part as well! And so our trip to Italy was like that. It's the only other country in Europe that we have visited,
Lots of photos here for you to look at! I will add titles to each photo as time permits.
