In February, 2010, and February, 2017, Kathy and I had the privilege of traveling to Thailand. The trips were fascinating for many reasons. We visited friends there, who gave us some great Thai hospitality. As you know, we love adventure :)

Our first trip in 2010 was to visit contacts we had made through the internet. I have found that the internet is not only for the dark and dangerous, but for God to use to make links through many means and then open up opportunities to actually meet each other! We went to Bangkok first to see some dear friends there. Great time :) Bangkok is an incredibly busy city, with many things typical to a city of that size, but with so much unique and fascinating history and places. Then we headed to Chonburi to visit a group of Christians where we spent time together including a time when I had the opportunity to baptize some young believers. From there  to Maha Sarakham to visit friends at a Christian mission where she was.

In 2017 we visited Bangkok again, making our base there as we visited friends new and old, and made day trips to other areas nearby to spend time with friends. it was a shorter trip but so good!
