We have so many great links with the UK in our hearts. Our spiritual roots,, though developed through our early lives, is so much tied to men and women of God from the UK who so deeply affected our lives. But besides that, what excitement to see the sites there. The old countryside with so many beautiful and picturesque sites, the deep history of the countries that so affected the world, and of course the friends who have so affected our lives for good through the years. England and Scotland 1978

We In 1978 Kathy again attended the Cliff Conference in England. So good! And by this time Kathy and I were dating. We had the opportunity to travel to the Lake District in northern England (a must see place!) and then on to Scotland to visit a church of believers in Lanark and then see Edenborough. A well known heart sugeon there named Dr. Kelly was overseer of the church there so we had opportunity to visit him and his family. We went on to Edenborough from there. It is a beautiful city. While there we went to the Tattoo, a military even held every year since 1950. It is held in a stadium linked with the famous Edenborough Castle. Quite amazing and worthwhile seeing. I wasn't able to take photos there, but have posted a few from the internet for you. See it if you are ever in Scotland!
